The quality of this picture is not great but the room was so dark and Charlie had just fallen asleep I didn’t want to wake him with lights or my flash. We have had a rough week with 3 sickies. Charlie had it bad with strep AND croup. Poor thing had the hardest time breathing. If you look close you can see his little nostrils flaring and his lips pursed together because it was so difficult for him to breath and painful to swallow. Most people don’t think about how amazing it is that our bodies just breathe in and out without even a thought. It’s not until you can hardly breathe that you realize how precious each breath really is.
